This course is cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use combined into one program. It is designed to teach the techniques to administer CPR, first aid, and utilize an AED in emergency situations involving infants, children, and adults.
This comprehensive program is appropriate for workplace training or general knowledge to be better prepared day to day. It meets all international standards, is OSHA* and ILCOR compliant, and has been accepted by the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
The CPR and AED components cover the knowledge needed to address one of the largest causes of death in the world. Intervening with this knowledge can possibly save a life. The first aid program reviews common techniques to treat serious emergencies, as well as less serious, more common issues.

Utilizing FRTI’s e-learning system, informative videos, section quizzes & detailed information gives you information on how to properly manage diving incidents & provide assistance to those in need.

While a current First Aid/CPR/AED certification is a pre requisite for our rescue course, our instructor can tailor the course to meet several end user needs. Including but not limited to

Frequently Asked Questions
Of course. While rare, public class dates are subject to change. A minimum number of students is required for the class to be conducted & sometimes instructors get sick (yes, we are not invincible). If a class is cancelled you will be notified & rescheduled into the next available public class. If you have certain deadlines or needs, please consider our Bespoke SCUBA Class to obtain a schedule built around your needs.
No. Our first aid courses are perfect for anyone.
Sure, why the hell not. We will just tell the other students that your schedule is our highest priority [do you hear the sarcasm?]. No, these are public classes with set schedules, however, if you do need an experience that matches your schedule, private instruction is available for an additional cost.
Yes. A requirement for the Rescue Diver source is valid certification in First-Aid and CPR. That said, everyone should carry First-Aid and CPR certification. Knowing what to do, when you need to know what to do, can literally save a life.
