FAQ

  • Do I need an appointment to drop off my gear?
  • No.  You don't need an appointment.  Just stop in during regular hours and any retail staffer can assit you with intake.  If you have specific concerns they can be relayed to the technician and the technician will contact you directly.
  • What are the details on Bubbles Rewards so I can save on service costs?
  • Did you miss the big button above that says "Learn More Here"?
  • If so, you can Learn More Here
  • What if I had CDC+ or CSA+ for my regulator service?
  • We have done our best to take care of customers from Cincinnati Diving Center & Cincinnati SCUBA & Aquatics, but the "+plus" program is over 20 years old now & is not a program we are continuing.
  • For the majority of you, "Bubbles Rewards" will save you money as now gear purchased from other vendors can qualify for Friends & Family Pricing as you are loyal customers taking classes, purchasing gear or traveling with us regularly.
  • For the few people who only walk in our shop for discounted service while supporting online vendors or other organizations; dude, buy some gear, we like to eat.
  • Can you service all types of gear?
  • "All" is a word we are really not comfortable with.
  • Our repair room & technicians are second to none & we stock parts from a variety of manufacturers.
  • That said, you would not believe how often someone buys something on eBay from a manufacturer that closed when we were in High School.
    • If you score a DACOR regulator online, like the one used to make the Darth Vader breathing sound, good for you; but we are not fixing it. Put it on display & come in for a new SCUBA Pro model.
  • I think I have parts for life?
  • Awesome.  We will check and confirm.  If you have it, awesome... but...
    • The requirement to maintain parts for life status varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.  The onus is on the owner to ensure you have met the requirements to stay in the manufacturers parts for life program.
    • We CANNOT do anything to restore parts for life status, only your gear manufacturer can do that.
    • We understand that some of these manufacturers used the Covid "nobody went diving" time to remove a large number of people from the parts for life program.  Was it a dick move? Yes.  Do they care that we think that? No.
  • Can I buy parts to service my own regulator?
  • No.  Only certified technicians should be servicing regulators.  Trying to do this without the proper training is asking for a watery grave.  Do not attempt this.
