Money Shouldn't Matter Program

  • Reserves 1 spot in each class for someone who wants the training but cannot afford the course fee.
  • Space is first come first serve
  • There is:
    • No application
    • No requirement to show hardship
    • No questions of any kind

This operates on the old fashioned honor system.

If you can afford the class, please pay for it.

If you cannot, just ask & the answer is yes.

To sign up

  1. Call the shop at 513.521.DIVE(3483)
  2. Let us know you would like to learn CPR using the Money Shouldn't Matter program, we will let you know the next available open class space.
  3. Complete the course requirements like every other student.

FAQ

  • What if I can afford the class but I choose to take advantage of this program?
  • Then you'll get the class for free.  There are no questions asked.
    • We hope, however, you will reconsider.  
    • This program was designed to give everyone the opportunity to learn how to save a life regardless of income status.  Taking a free spot in the class may sound like a great savings, until you are the one in need of help & the person next to you needed the spot you took.
  • Please help us protect this program by purchasing a spot if you are financially able.
  • I'm embarrassed, will everyone know I couldn't afford it?
  • No, and don't be embarrassed for wanting to learn how to save a life.  
    • The space reserved for this program is no different than a paid space.  You complete the same e-learning and in-class work at the same time.
  • We promise, if you ever need these skills, the thickness of your wallet will not be a concern to anyone.
  • I want to support this program to make it successful, how can I help?
  • Spend money.  The patronage of our customers is what funds this program.
  • Consider donating.  Gift cards can be purchased and held on retainer to fund additional free spots in classes.
  • Spread the word.  Encourage your family & friends to sign up for a class.  Let your employer know we can come in to train the entire staff.  Suggest to the school board they offer training to students.
